About Marimo Balls:
Marimo is a rare growth form of the species where the algae grow into large green balls with a velvety appearance. Colonies of such balls are only known to form in Iceland, Scotland, Japan and Estonia. In the “wild”, they get their round shape because the current rolls them across the bottom of the lake.
However in Japan are known to be small pets in some homes, offices and some are said that they believed to bring good luck.

Lighting:
Unlike the idea that they need little light, they do still grow with little light but if you want fuzzier and healthy ones they require more light.
Water:
I recommend you are to change the water every two weeks or so if your Marimo tends to float too much try squeezing the air out of it which should help.

* Just to note these are glass balls and are incredibly fragile so please handle with love and care.
